Before Swimming
For your
dogs' comfort and safety, do not feed them for 5 hours prior to swimming,
and for one hour after their swim.
For hygiene and cleanliness, dogs who have had diarrhoea within 2 days
prior to their swimming appointment, must not swim. If you have booked
a swim and your dog has diarrhoea, please rebook your appointment, giving
as much notice as possible.
To ensure your dogs
swim as safely as possible, please ask your vet to complete the Veterinary
Form. Then just email, post or hand deliver the form to DoggyPaddle,
at least one day before your first appointment. (Your vet may be prepared
to email this for you.)
Dogs may not swim within at least 3 weeks of starting a season. This is for hygiene reasons, consideration of male dogs visiting the pool, and safety of the dog in season
Please arrive 10
minutes before your appointment time, to allow enough time for your dogs
to go to the toilet, and be showered before their swim. We recommend that you shower your dogs after their swim. Please remember to bring along some
towels to dry them.
In the interests of
safety, children under 16 years of age are not allowed in the swimming
pool. However, the pool can be viewed easily from both the office
and drying areas.
Please ensure children visiting the pool are supervised at all times, for their safety and the safety of visiting dogs.
Our aim is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for you and your
dogs, whilst your dogs enjoy the numerous benefits of warm water swimming.
